NEW ASSISTANT SOFTBALL COACH MAKES IMMEDIATE IMPACT FOR PATRIOTS

Haley Fagan brings top-level collegiate and professional playing experience to the College of Central Florida. When asked about his new assistant coach, Head Coach Kevin Fagan (Haley's father) was quick to share how she has already made a tremendous impact on the program. "She has not only helped our infielders with fundamentals, but has helped them grow as complete players through sharing her experiences of competing at the highest level." Coach Fagan goes on to say,  "Another big thing she has done for us is creating a challenging and diversified circuit-style weight and conditioning program." Haley shares the same drive as her father to compete at the national level every season and to give Patriots' players the tools they need to succeed at the next level.

Haley was a three-year starter at Auburn and helped the Tigers earn back-to-back berths in the Women's College World Series, including an appearance in the national final as a junior in 2016. She began her career at South Alabama, where she was named Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year while also being named to the NFCA All-Region first team.

As a freshman, she hit .352 with 11 homers and 51 RBI. During the span of her four-year career, Fagan batted .331 with a .689 slugging percentage, 27 doubles, three triples, 34 home runs, 147 RBI and 134 run scored in 192 games played between South Alabama (2013) and Auburn (2015-17).

The entire coaching staff is looking forward to the coming spring season; eager to succeed with their new addition to the Patriots' family!
