Athletic Facilities | Goodlett Field (Baseball)

CF Softball Complex has been home to the Lady Patriots softball team since the late 1970’s. To date, it is known as one of the premier fields in the state.

Located on the northwest side of campus, CF Softball Complex creates a laid-back, ballpark atmosphere enjoyed by players and fans alike.

Ocala’s mild climate allows players and fans the ability to enjoy the complex year round. When the Lady Patriots are not in season, camps, lessons and showcases are also held at the complex.

Covered bleachers are arranged along the left and right field lines, giving fans a panoramic view from either side, while being able to stay cool and dry.

Bermuda grass lines the outfield to give players the finest in facility surface. Players also enjoy newly-upgraded locker rooms that include a flat screen television and showers. An industrial washer and dryer are also inside to wash the player’s practice and game uniforms.

In 2007, a 3,800 square foot covered, batting facility was added for hitters and pitchers to get in extra work, rain or shine. CF Softball Complex is one of the few colleges in the state to provide covered cages.

Also onsite are coaches’ offices and media tower, located behind home plate.
