The Lady Patriots ran their Season Opener at UCF competing against a field of six juco teams.  Sophomore Captains Magda Barcia and Iraly Faria led freshmen teammates to a fifth-place team finish.  Barica placed 19^th in 24:15 and Faria was 22^nd in 24:40. Freshman Adrienne Bunn raced her collegiate debut in 25:57 placing 29^th.  Allison Robb followed in 26:37 and Kiera Kenny in 27:53. Gabby Fugate (28:58) and Rylee Zell (30:24) rounded out the top seven.

The Patriots travel next to Holloway Park in Lakeland for the SEU Invitational on Saturday, September 7 at 8 A.M.
