In 2023, Coach Lingle saw his Lady Patriots claim their 5th consecutive Mid-FL Conference title. The Lady Pats finished the season 46-13 (15-3 MFC) while finishing #3 in the state polls and #7 nationally. Five Lady Pats earned All-state honors as two earned the prestigious NJCAA All-American honor.

The Lady Pats were again lethal at the plate. They lead the state in batting avg, hitting .386 as a team, and were also 2nd in doubles (102), 2nd in triples (23), 2nd in HR’s (63), 2nd in stolen bases (183) and 2nd in Slugging Percentage (.588).  Leading the Pats at the plate were three time All-American center fielder Gianna Guerierro and Mid-Florida Conference player of the year and NJCAA all American short stop, Brooke Roberts.  Guerierro finished second in the state hitting .508, while accumulating 99 hits, with 19 2B’s, 5 3B’s, 10 HRs, and 35 Stolen bases. Roberts platooned the INF while hitting .452, with 13 2B’s, 3 3B’s, 22 SB’s, along with a state best 23 HR’s and 87 RBI’s. Freshman first-team all-state outfielder, Megan Loftis had stellar freshman campaign hitting .472 with 50 runs and 47 stolen bases.  

In the circle, the Patriots were lead by Mid-Florida Conference first-team all-state pitcher, Haley Guffey. The freshman lead the Patriots with a 27-5 record. She struck out 190 batters with a 1.59 ERA. The Lady Pats pitching staff ended the season with a 1.98 ERA (3rd). 

In 2022, Lingle saw his Lady Patriots capture their 2nd state title in the past 4 years. The Patriots led most offensive categories in the state: runs-428 (2nd), hits-640 (2nd), 2Bs-132 (1st), 3Bs-21 (2nd), HRs-50 (2nd) while hitting .359.  The Patriots once again blazed the base paths while leading the state and finishing 3rd in nation in stolen bases with 213.  

Leading Central Florida at the plate was two-time All American, Mid-FL conference Player of the Year, Gianna Guerriero.  Guerriero lead the state in batting average hitting .463. (11HRs/14 doubles/6 triples/11 HRs).  On her tails was Emily Konz who was 3rd in the state hitting .442.  Brooke Roberts had a stellar freshaman campaign collecting 67 RBIs with 19 doubles, 5 triples, and 10 HRs.

Five Patriots made first team all state (Alyssa Adams, Katie Hogue, Emily Konz, Gianna Guerriero, and Savannah Barnett).  Barnett was a force in the circle as she joined a small elite group at CF by becoming an All-American. She was 2nd in the state in wins (22) while averaging close to 7Ks/game (189 strikeouts) with an ERA of 1.99.  

In the 2021 season under Lingle the Lady Patriots completed their season with a 44-8 record while being crowned Mid-Florida champions and maintaining the #1 or #2 spot in the FSCAA State Polls throughout the entire season. Lingle’s squad saw 8 players selected to 1st team all conference, 6 players were selected to the all-state team, and 2 players became NJCAA 1st team All-Americans (Odalys Cordova and Gianna Guerriero). The Lady Patriots potent offense led the state in a multiple of categories including batting avg (.423), hits (660), doubles (104), triples (20), and 3rd in HR’s with (55).  Lingles’s Patriots blazed the base paths as they led the nation in stolen bases with 236. The flashy shortstop, Odalys Cordova, was crowned FSCAA state “Player of the Year” while pitcher Madison Edwards was crowned conference “Pitcher of the Year”. The Patriot pitching staff keep opposing offenses in check while having the 2nd best team ERA in the state at 2.81. 

In 2020 Lingle helped a Patriot team that jumped off to a program record 28 game winning streak out of the gates as the Patriots completed the Covid shortened season at a 30-1 record being ranked #1 in the nation.

In 2018, Lingle recruited and helped develop one of the most dominant offenses in the state and nation that led to Top 10 national rankings for eight consecutive weeks. At the plate, CF's offense finished No. 1 in the state, Top 20 in the nation for most home runs hit (60), most runs scored (471), and most runs batted in (422). Central Florida's team finished second in the state in team batting average (.373). Sophomore infielder Destinee Lizzmore led the state in total home runs (17) and RBIs (74), while shortstop Caeley Nix finished with the third-highest batting average in the state (.470).

Eight players received Mid-Florida Conference All-Conference honors, while former FCSAA Player of the Year Brooke Barlow received all-state honors.

In 2016, Lingle helped lead the CF Softball team to back-to-back Mid-Florida Conference titles, while garnering FCSAA and NJCAA No. 1 rankings for six or more weeks. He was instrumental in the recruiting and development of freshmen NJCAA All-Americans Brooke Barlow and Kelsee Cullop. Barlow, FCSAA and MFC Player of the Year, led the state and nation for most runs batted in (107), becoming just the third player in Region 8 history to drive in 100 or more runs in a single season. Cullop finished No. 2 in the state for overall batting average (.476) and runs scored (93). On the season, the CF offense led the state in batting average (.403), home runs (89), and most runs scored (609), while finishing top 3 in the nation in home runs and runs scored.

In 2015, Lingle helped lead the Lady Patriots to its first-ever MFC title and NJCAA No. 1 ranking which spanned seven weeks. He helped surpass the program's winningest record (set last year) by finishing 53-9 (20-4 in conference). Lingle was an integral part of CF's offensive dominance, as well as the development of freshman All-American Mariah Wise. Over the season, CF Softball led the state in runs scored (407) and home runs hit (52), while finishing Top 5 in FCSAA in batting average.

In 2014, Lingle helped lead the Lady Patriots to a NJCAA No. 2 overall finish, falling to Angelina College in the NJCAA National Championship game. The CF Softball team experienced its best-ever, overall record finishing 48-15 (18-6 conf.) on the season. They also took down NJCAA No. 1 teams Indian River State College and Arizona Western College en route to their national runner-up finish. Lingle was part a part of a coaching staff the received South Regional Softball Coaching Staff of the Year honors as a result of their great success in 2013.

In 2012, he helped the program go from 14 wins in a season (2011) to 36 wins. During this time, his recruiting efforts have made CF a common name seen in the JUCO state polls.

Lingle is a graduate of CF and played baseball for the Patriots under the guidance of current CF coach Marty Smith. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Education from St. Leo University. Prior to coming to CF, Lingle established Ocala Forest High as a perennial softball contender. He lead the Wildcats to six straight postseason berths, collected 131 wins and sent dozens of players on to the collegiate level. While at Forest, Lingle had 17 players earn all-state honors.

Aside from coaching and teaching, Coach Lingle enjoys spending time with his wife Laurel and his daughters Lindie and Mahri. Lingle is also an active member of Meadowbrook Church.
