Four Softball Pats Earn All-Citrus Conference Honors

The College of Central Florida Patriots earned some post season honors as four players were named to All-Citrus Conference Teams. Leah Clark and Madison VanAllen were named to the first team and Amber Daugherty and Bailey Holmes were named to the second team.

Leah Clark led the Patriots in runs (52), hits (69), home runs (10), and RBI (54). She was tied for the lead in doubles (17) and stolen bases (30). She went a perfect 30 for 30 in stolen bases and over her two year career went a perfect 75 for 75. 

Madison VanAllen led the Pats in batting average at .432 and was a RBI machine driving in 41 runs. She also hit five home runs and ten doubles. SHe was second in hits with 57 behind Clark. 

Amber Daugherty hit .364 with a .405 on base percentage. She tied for the lead in doubles with 17. She had 51 hits with three home runs and also drove in 31 runs.

Bailey Holmes missed some games from injury early in the season and came back on a tear. She led the team in on base percentage (.465) and tied for the lead in stolen bases (30). She had 53 hits in her 43 games played and hot .368 on the season. She also scored 43 runs and had one home run.
