The College of Central Florida Patriots hosted Santa Fe College for a double header on Thursday after losing to them on Tuesday on the road. The games did not disappoint Patriot fans, as CF won game one 7-6 and came back to win game two 13-12. 

In Game One Anna Toon started in the circle and gave the Patriots three innings giving up three runs on three hits and two walks. Ashley Martinec came into the game in the fourth and finished the game to earn the win allowing three runs, zero earned, on four hits.

CF was down 4-3 in the fifth inning when Gianna Guerriero doubled to drive in two runs and take the lead 6-3. The Pats blasted 13 hits and were led by: Katie Hogue (2-3, 2R, 2RBI, 2B, HR), Megan Loftis (2-4, R, RBI), Guerriero (2-3, R, 2RBI, 2B), Emily Konz (3-4, R), and Hailey Scott (3-3, RBI). 

In Game Two the Patriots gave up four unearned runs in the first after and error and then proceeded to score four runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning to tie it up. CF had a commanding 11-5 lead in the sixth when Santa Fe's offense erupted for seven runs to take a one run lead. The Patriots got one run back in the sixth after Guerriero stole 2nd and 3rd before Desiree Mills singled on a hard hit ball to short to tie the game back up at 12. Anna Toon entered the game to get the last out in the sixth and then shut the door on the Saints in the 7th in the circle. In the bottom of the seventh Konz walked with one out and stole second before Emma Rogel came up with two outs to single up the middle and score Konz for the walk off win.

Leading hitters in game two were: Alahnis Berrios (2-5, 2 R, RBI), Gianna Guerriero (3-4, 4R, RBI, 2B), Katie Hogue (3-4, R, 2RBI, 2B), Avery Lawson (2-4, 2R, RBI, 3B)

The Lady Pats next game will be next Thursday, 4/13 when they take on Seminole State at 3 pm at home.
