Eight Patriots Make All-Mid Florida Conference Team

The College of Central Florida Patriots Softball team finished the season as Conference Champs with a 42-16 overall record and a 16-4 in conference record. The Patriots had eight players voted in by the conference to be on the first or second team All Mid-Florida Conference Team. Offensively, Katie Hogue, Gianna Guerriero, Emily Konz, and Alyssa Adams made first team along with two pitcher, Savannah Barnett and Katey Pierce. Hitters Brooke Roberts and Kamaya Cohen were selected for second-team all-conference.

Along with these honors the Patriots added on with Gianna Guerriero being selected as the Player fo the Year for the Mid-Florida Conference. Guerriero finished the year hitting .486 with a .531 OBP along with a team leading 11 home runs. Savannah Barnett was select as Pitcher of the Year for the conference. She was one of the leading pitchers in the state touting a 1.67 ERA and a 18-6 record in 25 starts, throwing 147 innings for the Pats this season. The final Mid-Florida Conference Award went to Tike Gardner as the Conference Coach of the Year
