Softball Takes 4/5 Games

Game One 3/16/21:     Daytona scores 1 in the top of the first and the patriots answer right back with 5 runs of thier own. Daytona would again score 3 in the top of the third inning. The Patriot offense would remain scorelss until the bottom of the 6th where they scored 5 to put them comftroably ahead 10 - 4 which would remain the final. Offensive leaders for the Lady Pats are as follows: Emily Dixon 2-4 with a single, double and run scored. Odalys Cordova 2-4 with a single, HR  and 2 RBI. Hannah Meyer 3-4 with one single, two doubles, one RBI and one run scored. Glory Thompson 3-4 two singles, one double, and two runs scored.

 

Game Two 3/16/21:    CF opens up the scoring in the third innning with a two spot which Daytona answers with a run of thier own in the top of the fourth. CF scratches one in the bottom of the fifth inning to howld a 3-1 lead. Daytona proceeds to score nine runs in the next three innings to Central Florida's 5 which leads to a 10-8 final in favor of the Falcons. Offensive leaders for CF are as follows. Glory Thompson 3-4 with 2 singles, one double and  one run scored. Odalys Cordova 2-5 with one single, HR, 2 RBI 2 runs scored. Gianna Gurriero 2-5 with 1 single, 1 2B, 1 RBI and 1 run scored.

Game Four 3/20/21:      

  • College of Central Florida Patriots Softball put up six runs in the first on its way to a 10-2 victory over Fscj on Saturday. College of Central Florida Patriots Softball batters contributing to the big inning included Odalys CordovaAbbey O'Connor, and Hannah Meyer, all driving in runs in the inning.
  • College of Central Florida Patriots Softball got things started in the first inning when Cordova homered on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs.
  • Madison Edwards was the winning pitcher for College of Central Florida Patriots Softball. The pitcher allowed six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out six and walking zero.
  • Lister took the loss for Fscj. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing 14 hits and ten runs while striking out one and walking one.
  • College of Central Florida Patriots Softball socked one home run on the day. Cordova went yard in the first inning.
  • College of Central Florida Patriots Softball tallied 14 hits. Gianna Gurriero, Glory ThompsonIsabella PintoKamaya Cohen, and Meyer each had multiple hits for College of Central Florida Patriots Softball. Thompson and Gurriero all had three hits to lead College of Central Florida Patriots Softball. College of Central Florida Patriots Softball didn't commit a single error in the field. Meyer had the most chances in the field with seven.
  • Fscj racked up six hits in the game. Swanson and Townly all managed multiple hits for Fscj.

Game Five 3/20/21:    

  • Savannah Barnett didn't allow a single run as College of Central Florida Patriots Softball defeated Fscj 6-0 on Saturday. Barnett allowed just three hits.
  • College of Central Florida Patriots Softball pulled off the big victory without ever scoring many runs in an inning. The most they scored was two in the third.
  • College of Central Florida Patriots Softball fired up the offense in the first inning. An error scored one run for College of Central Florida Patriots Softball.
  • A single by Swanson in the first inning was a positive for Fscj.
  • Barnett was the winning pitcher for College of Central Florida Patriots Softball. Barnett lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking zero.
  • Glover took the loss for Fscj. The hurler surrendered five runs on five hits over four innings, striking out three and walking zero.
  • College of Central Florida Patriots Softball smacked one home run on the day. Hannah Meyer went for the long ball in the sixth inning.
  • College of Central Florida Patriots Softball scattered seven hits in the game. Emily Dixon and Glory Thompson all had multiple hits for College of Central Florida Patriots Softball. Thompson and Dixon each collected two hits to lead College of Central Florida Patriots Softball. Gianna Gurriero led College of Central Florida Patriots Softball with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases. College of Central Florida Patriots Softball was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Chloe Nadler had the most chances in the field with eight.
