OCALA-- The College of Central Florida softball team has drawn the No. 2 seed in the upcoming NJCAA Div. I Softball Tournament May 22-25 in St. George, Utah. 

The FCSAA Region VIII State Champions will take on No. 15 Abraham Baldwin out of Georgia in the first round of the national tournament on Wednesday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. MDT. Abraham Baldwin finished the season 41-14 overall, 24-4 in their conference, to represent Region 17 at this year's tournament.

The Patriots will be joined by fellow Region VIII team Chipola College on the same side of the bracket. Chipola drew the No. 3 seed. Click here for the complete bracket. 

This will be the second national tournament appearance for the Lady Patriots under the direction of head coach Kevin Fagan. CF finished NJCAA Runner-Ups in 2014, Fagan's inaugural year, after fighting back from the loser's bracket to force a game two versus Angelina College.
