OCALA--The College of Central Florida softball team dropped a pair to Florida SouthWestern State College on Saturday afternoon in Fort Myers.

CF fell 2-0 in the first game of the doubleheader, unable to convert with runners in scoring position. The Lady Patriots left seven runners on base in the loss.

In game two, CF plated their only run of the doubleheader in the top of the fourth inning to cut the Bucs' lead to 3-1, but the Lady Patriots were unable to hold on as FSW swept the doubleheader with a 5-1 win.

As a team, CF recorded just four hits to FSW's 10 runs. Takiya London, Karli Woolington, Bailey Wilson, and Maggie Trgo recorded the lone hits in game two.
