#CFSOFTBALL PITCHERS COMBINE TO THROW BACK-TO-BACK NO-HITTERS VS OCC

OCALA--Four College of Central Florida softball pitchers combined to throw back-to-back no hitters, blanking Oakland Community College 12-0 (5 innings), 18-0 (5 innings) in the Sunday doubleheader at CF Softball Complex.

In game one, Lindsay Markham-Rosario threw four scoreless innings and struck out seven before Samantha Urbina came in to close out the fifth inning.

The Lady Patriot offense combined for 12 runs on 10 hits in the run-rule. Gretchen Ebert (1-for-2) drove in three runs, while Aliyah Carter (1-for-1) added two.

CF's pitching and offense continued to roll in game two. 

Morgan Cushman threw three scoreless innings and struck out six before giving way to Kayla Jensen, who struck out two in two innings of work.

The CF bats combined for 16 hits on the day. Ebert (2-for-2, 2 runs scored) recorded four RBI to cap off a seven-RBI day, while Julia Ramos (3-for-3, 4 RBI) and Jenna Rodelo (2-for-2, HR, 3 RBI) also recorded big days in game two.

CF will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Eastern Florida State College for a non-conference doubleheader at 2 and 4 p.m.
