#CFSOFTBALL: CUSHMAN, URBINA COMBINE FOR NO-HITTER IN SWEEP OF TCC

OCALA--FCSAA No. 3 College of Central Florida softball team (20-4) swept Tallahassee Community College (13-0, 5 innings), 10-3 on Saturday afternoon in Tallahassee.

The Lady Patriots got things going in the top of the first inning of game one off a two-run homer from Takiya London and a single from Anina Fernandez to go up 3-0. CF plated an additional 10 runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings to blank the Eagles.

London finished the game going 3-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored.

Morgan Cushman and Samantha Urbina combined to throw a no-hitter in the win. Cushman threw four scoreless innings and struck out four to pick up her fourth win of the season. 

In game two, the Lady Patriots and Eagles entered the fifth inning tied 1-1 before CF exploded for an eight-run fifth inning to go ahead for good and complete the sweep.

Tiffany Steczo (1-for-3) plated three runs in the game two to cap off a six-RBI day.

Lindsay Markham-Rosario didn't allow an earned run on five hits in six innings of work and struck out six for her eighth win of her sophomore campaign. 

CF will host Oakland Community College for a doubleheader on Sunday at 1 and 3 p.m.
