OCALA-- The College of Central Florida softball team had a trio of players earn all-state honors by the FCSAA.

Jordan Lane and Amy Szymanowski were named first-team all-state, while Autumn Hanners earned second-team honors for the Patriots.

Lane, who leads the team with a .409 average, had a stellar freshman season for CF at shortstop. Szymanowski is the school's single-season and career leader in home runs.

Hanners, who had 13 doubles and 10 saves in her freshman season, made an impact at both first base and in the circle. The freshman from Winter Park Lake Howell is part of a pitching staff that is fifth in the nation in ERA and ninth overall in opponents' batting average against.

CF takes on Eastern Florida State in the opening round of the FCSAA Atlantic District Tournament this Saturday at 12 p.m.
