Ocala, FL-- The College of Central Florida softball team split a pair of games on Saturday afternoon in the Indian River Tournament.
The Patriots knoked off Miami Dade 5-4, before a 6-4 loss to Indian River.
In the opener, Lindsay O'Steen had two doubles and knocked in three runs, while Taylor Morrow went 2-for-2, along with Alora Thompson, who was 2-for-3.
Jamie Nelson went the distance and earned the win with four strikeouts for CF in the opener.
In the second game, the Patriots lost on a walk-off home run.
Leading the way for CF at the plate were Amy Szymanowski (3-for-4), Morrow (2-for-4) and Jordan Lane (2-for-3).
The Patriots face Heartland Community College and Hillsborough Community College on Sunday.
