The Patriots competed at the St. Leo Invite in Tampa, FL on Saturday, September 24th. The muddy, hilly golf course was considered by many to be true cross country terrain. The women stayed consistent in keeping on pace and close to their PRs despite several turns and an uphill challenge. Brianna Carey led with a 24:31. Heidi Kearney followed in 24:53 and Madison Strickland in 26:43. Trinity Bonner and Kalyn Sitterson rounded out the top five. The ladies will continue working on mileage and compete next at the USF Invite held at the Claw golf course in Tampa on Friday, October 14th at 5:50 p.m.
