OCALA--The College of Central Florida men's basketball team traveled to Winter Haven for a non-conference match up on Saturday afternoon.
The Patriots snapped a three-game losing streak, defeating Polk State College 78-66 on the road. Freshman Anthony Johnson gave CF a presence under the basket, leading the team with 24 points and 12 rebounds and recording his third double-double of the season.
Ivan Gandia (20 points) and Paul Turner (19 points) backed Johnson in the win.
The Patriots will travel to Santa Fe College on Wednesday for a big conference game. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. The game will be streamed live at santafesaints.com.
