OCALA-- College of Central Florida men's basketball player Malik Dunbar earned his first FCSAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week honor after his monstrous two-game outing at the Florida JUCO Showcase over the weekend. 

Dunbar averaged 29.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and shot 55.9% from the field en rout to recording two double-doubles and keeping the Patriots a perfect 5-0 at home this year. 

Against Broward College, Dunbar put up a season-high 32 points and snagged 11 rebounds and shot 58.8% from the field. In game two against Indian River State College, he recorded 27 points and 10 rebounds. 

The men's basketball team is taking a temporary break over the Christmas holiday, but will be back in action for a New Year's Eve matinee against Hillsborough Community College at 4 p.m. at Patriot Gym.
