OCALA--The College of Central Florida men's basketball team downed State College of Florida on Tuesday night at Patriot Gym.

CF rolled past the Manatees 106-76 to improve to 9-2 on the season. As a team, the Patriots shot 58 percent from the field and 64 percent from behind the arc. They also forced 16 turnovers on the night.

The Patriots had six of nine active players finish in double-figures. Ivan Gandia led all scorers with 24 points and drained eight 3-pointers. Van Turner, Jr. followed with 18 points and Vasile Odagiu finished with a career-high 10 rebounds.

CF now heads to New Rochelle, NY for a three-day tournament at Monroe College. The Patriots will be back at home next Saturday and Sunday, December 10-11 as they host the JUCO Shootout.
