Men's Basketball secures first road win of the season

OCALA-- The College of Central Florida men's basketball team picked up its first road win of the season Tuesday night in Tampa.

The Patriots traveled to Hillsborough Community College where they defeated the Hawks 60-52 to improve to 4-1 on the season.

Paul Turner led all scorers with 22 points and shot 56 percent from the field. Malik Dunbar (11 points) and Francois Lewis (10 points) also finished the night in double-figures for the Patriots.

The Patriots will head on the road to Miami Dade College for a three-day tournament starting on Friday and concluding on Sunday. They will take on Pensacola State College on Friday at 3 p.m. and Florida Southwestern State College on Saturday at 5 p.m. CF will wrap up the weekend against the host, MDC, on Sunday at 1 p.m.
