Pats Improve to 4-3 with 14-3 Win at Rollins JV

The streaking Patriots (4-3) won their fourth game in a row when they defeated the Rollins College Tars JV 14-3 on Tuesday evening in Winter Park.

Marcus Bradshaw and Cooper Jones, both freshman, combined for 7 hits, 6 RBI, and 6 runs scored to lead the offensive explosion. Bradshaw also stole four bases. Cole Bullen had a triple that knocked in two runs and Miles Curley added a two run single.

Seven pitchers combined to two hit the Tars with Todd Kniebbe getting the win in relief. Kniebbe (1-0) tossed 1.1 innings, allowing no hits, no runs, and striking out three. Fulton Lockhart (1 IP, 3K), Luke Ridley (1 IP,3K), Karson Lindsey (3 IP, H, R, 2K), Isaac Sewell (1 IP, K), Evan Dobias (1 IP, 0H), closed out the final seven innings.

CF will head back out on the road this Friday when they travel to Avon Park to play a 1:00 PM game at South Florida State College.
