Pats Look Dominant in 11-2 Win at Tallahassee

The Pats bats exploded for 15 hits in their 11-2 win over the Tallahassee Community College Eagles.

CF broke open a tie ballgame when they scored six times in the fourth inning. Anthony Diaz knocked in the first run of the inning with a single, followed by a Marcus Bradshaw single that scored two more runs to make it 5-2 Pats. An error by the TCC left fielder allowed two runners to score and made it 7-2. The sixth and final run of the inning scored on a Kareh Valentin single.

CF pushed the lead to 9-2 in the fifth inning on another Diaz RBI single. The final two Pats runs scored on Edwin Toribio's fourth home run of the season.
Todd Kniebbe (3-0) earned the win with 2.1 innings pitched in relief allowing only 3 hits, 0 runs, and striking out one. Cortland Clarke (1.0 IP, H, 0R, 2K), Jack Garvey (1.0 IP, H, 0R, 2K), and Miles Curley (2.0 IP, 0H, 0R, 3K) closed out the game on the mound.

Leading hitters were: Valentin 3-5, 2B, RBI, Toribio 2-3, 3R, HR, 2 RBI, Logan Chapman 2-3, 3R, 2B, Diaz 2-3, 2 RBI, and Bradshaw 4-5, 3 RBI
CF improves to 10-4, 2-1 on the season while TCC falls to 7-8.

Patriots are back in action at home on Thursday with a conference game against the Eastern Florida State College Titans, 2 PM.
