Freshman infielder Kareh Valentin from Douglasville, GA was named D1 Region 8 Baseball Player of the Week. He Batted .714 (5-for-7) with two runs scored, two doubles, six RBI and one stolen base in two games. He helped the Patriots to a 3-0 weekend. Against Palm Beach State, he was a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs scored, two doubles and six RBI.
