
The College of Central Florida Baseball team had three players make NJCAA DI All-America teams.
John Marant made First Team Designated Hitter. John slashed .434/.553/.758 and hit 15 home runs and 17 doubles while driving in 70 runs and led the Pats in scoring 72 runs.
Edwin Toribio made Second Team Infield. The Mid-Florida Conference Player of the Year hit 20 HR and had 75 RBI while hitting .403/.437/.719. Edwin was a key defensive player this season in the infield playing both third base and second base. He only made 9 errors in 135 chances. He also broke his hand in post season practice and later came back in the Word Series to help the Pats win their first National Championship.
Cam Schuelke made Honorable Mention. The State/Region 8 Fireman of the Year had had 9 wins, 8 saves and a 2.09 ERA with 86 strikeouts in 60 1/3 innings. Cam was able to lock down games for the Patriots all season long when his name was called and he did the same in the World Series for the Patriots.
These three Pats join infielder Caleb Cali and pitcher Ben Chestnut who were named All-Americans last season and outfielder James Nix from 2019 as recent All-Americansfor the COllege of Central Florida.
