Edrick Felix was named Region 8 Player of the Week for the second time this season. The Florida Gulf COast University commit hit .571 (4-for-7) with five runs scored, one double, two home runs and eight RBI leading Central Florida to the Ocala Regional Championship. He homered in both games and went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and five RBI in game one. This was the fourth week of the season the Patriots had a hitter named Player of the Week with Caleb Cali earning it twice earlier in the season.
