Ocala, FL-- The College of Central Florida baseball team used a five-run effort in the seventh inning to snap a 9-all tie on its way to a 14-11 win over Lincoln Land (Ill.) on Tuesday afternoon at Goodlett Field.
CF (17-10) was led at the plate by David Lugo (4 for 5, two doubles, three runs scored, two RBI), Ryan Crile (4 for 5, three runs scored, double), Enderson Velasquez (2 for 4, four runs scored, RBI, hom...er), Josh Ellzey (3 for 6, two runs scored, RBI), Connor Crile (3 for 5, run scored, double, two RBI) and Ryan Smith (2 for 5, three RBI, double).
Fowler Brown earned the win in relief for the Patriots, who visit conference rival St. Johns River on Wednesday night.
CF is back home on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. against SJRSC.
