Pats Defeat Pioneers 7-2 for 11th Win in a Row
Five Patriot pitchers combined to toss a three-hitter in the teams' 7-2 win over Indian River State College on Saturday afternoon at Goodlett Field in Ocala. Emmanuel Dooley started for the Pats and went 2.2 innings allowing two hits, two runs, with one strike out. Isaac Sewell relieved Dooley and picked up another win to improve his record to 5-0. Sewell tossed 4.1 innings, allowing only one hit, no runs, and striking out five Pioneer batters. Ian Moore, Keller Eberly, and Cam Schuelke combined to no hit Indian River over the last 2.2 innings. The win extends the Patriots winning streak to eleven games and improves their record to 23-1. Indian River fell to 14-6.
 
The Pioneers got on the board in the first inning when Raul Feliz homered to right center field. The lead was short lived as John Marant hit his seventh HR of the season in the bottom of the first to put CF up 2-1. A Feliz RBI single in the third inning tied the game at 2. An Aaron Saltsman double followed by Bradke Lohry's ninth homerun of the season put the Pats up 4-2 in the fifth inning. Run scoring singles by Kareh Valentin and Saltsman made it a 6-2 game in the sixth and a Kainen Jorge double drove home the Pats' final run in the eighth inning.
