Pats Get 14 Hits in 10-3 Win Over Falcons

The Patriots got back into the win column in Mid-Florida Conference play when they defeated the Daytona State College Falcons 10-3 Wednesday afternoon in Ocala. CF starting pitcher, Andrew Herrmann (4-1) earned the win by throwing 5.2 innings allowing six hits, three runs and striking out five batters. Austin Eppley and Emmanuel Dooley combined to finish the game by throwing 3.1 innings giving up only two hits and striking out seven batters. The #5 nationally ranked Patriots improve to 33-3 over-all and 7-2 in conference play.
 
The offense was led by six batters who collected two hits each in the game. Michael Guilliams (2-3, 3 RBI), Kainen Jorge (2-3, 2 RBI), Edwin Toribio (2-5, RBI), Juan Correa (2-5, RBI, 3B), Carson Bayne (2-3, 3 Runs, 2B), Kareh Valentin (2-5, 2 Runs, RBI, 2B).
 
Game two of the three game series will be played in Daytona on Friday, March 31st, 1:00 PM.
