Big innings was the theme for the Patriots in their three game series sweep of the Seminole State Raiders. The Pats used big run scoring innings in each of the first two games of the series and Sundays finale was no different as they defeated the Raiders 12-4 in seven innings.

The Patriots found themselves down 4-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning when they scored four times to take a 5-4 lead. The big hit of the inning was a two out two run single by John Marant to give the lead to CF. With the score still 5-4 the Patriots unloaded for seven runs in the seventh inning to end the game by the conference run rule. Marant, once again provided the fireworks with a three-run home run, his ninth of the season, which ended the game. Marant finished 4 for 5 with two doubles, a home run, and six RBI.

Keller Eberly (4-0) earned the win in relief throwing 2.1 innings allowing four hits, no runs, and striking out two. Can Schuelke earned save #6 when he got out of a two on two out jam in the top of the seventh inning by striking out Cade Brewer to preserve the Pats one run lead.

Bradke Lohry and Kareh Valentin each finished with two hits while Lohry, Kainen Jorge, and Cole Bullen contributed two RBI each.

With the win the Patriots are the first team in the nation to reach the 30 win plateau and improves to 30-1 on the season and 6-0 in Mid-Florida Conference games.

CF will host St. John's River State College on Monday at 3:00 PM in a non-conference game. The Patriots next conference game will be Wednesday, 3:00 PM when the #6 nationally ranked Santa Fe Saints (29-1) come to Goodlett Field to begin a three game series.
