Patriots' first baseman, Juan Correa, crushed two home runs, had four RBIs and finished the game a perfect 3 for 3 in College of Central Florida's 12-1 rout of Daytona State College. CF moves to 26-1 over-all and 2-0 in Mid-Florida Conference play. The Falcons fall to 13-9 over-all and 0-2 in the conference.

The Patriots jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the first inning on an Edwin Toribio sacrifice fly, a ground out by Kareh Valentin, and a three-run home run by Kainen Jorge, his tenth of the season. After Daytona pushed across a run in the fourth inning, Correa connected on his fourth home run of the season to make it a 7-1 game after five innings. CF would then score five more times in the sixth inning to end the contest due to the conference run-rule. In the inning Aaron Saltsman doubled and scored on a John Marant single. Bradke Lohry scored on a passed ball, Marant scored on a wild pitch, and Correa ended the game with his fifth home run of the season to make the final score 12-1.

Patriots ace pitcher, Brian Holiday (Oklahoma State commit), threw a complete game with six innings, five hits, one run and eight strike outs to improve to 5-0 on the season.

The Patriots travel to Daytona on Saturday to try to complete the three-game sweep of the Falcons. Game time is 1:00 PM.
