Central Florida Dominates in Both Games Against Pasco Hernando

Savannah Barnett cruises to her third win in a row in game one's 8-0 victory over PHSC. She struck out 3 batters while allowing only one hit in five innings pitched.

Brooke Roberts (1-2, 2 RBI) got the Patriots on the board in the first inning with a one-out single to center field to score Emily Konz (3-3, 2 R). Roberts then scored on a hard hit ground ball by Alyssa Adams (1-2) that was too tough to handle by the Bobcats shortstop Jade Canady. Katie Hogue (3-3, 3 RBI) followed with a double to score Adams and then scored on Abbey O'Connor's (2-3) line drive single to left for a 4-0 lead in. The Patriots added two more in the fourth inning with RBIs from Roberts with a Sac Fly and a single from Hogue. Kamaya Cohen (2-4) locked up the victory with a RBI single to score O'Conner for the 5-inning run rule walk off. 

In game two the Lady Pats had a 3-1 lead in the sixth when they exploded for 6 runs to walk off their second game in a row with the 8-run run rule. Abbey O'Connor (1-2), Kamaya Cohen(1-3, 2 R,SB), Emily Konz (1-4, 2 RBI, 3B), and Brooke Roberts (2-4, 3 RBI, HR) all drove in runs in the inning. Roberts hit her fourth home run of the season and the team's 20th home run of the year.

Emily Proctor took the win for College of Central Florida. She surrendered only one run on five hits over six innings, striking out four.

The 12-4 Patriots have now won five games in a row. They will be back in action on Friday at home with a double header vs South Florida State starting at 2 PM
