The CF Softball Team will play in the FCSAA Division I/NJCAA South Atlantic District Softball Championship Tournament in Clearwater, FL starting on Wednesday, May 8th. Eight teams from the state will play for the state title and a bid to the NJCAA DI Softball World Series in Oxford, AL.

The Patriots (44-16) earned the 4th seed and are matched up against the 5th seeded Gulf Coast State (39-13) who finished second in the Panhandle Conference. They will play the second game of the tournament at 1 PM on Wednesday, May 8th. The two teams met twice early in the 2024 season. Gulf Coast bested the Patriots in both games 6-4 and 8-5. 

The Patriots come into the tournament with one of the best offenses in the state. They lead the state in batting average (.380), hits (616), doubles (113) and are second in runs (436), RBI (399), SB (218) and on base % (.449). The Patriot pitching staff boasts the second best ERA (2.13) and is sixth in strikeouts (272). 

All games will be played at the Eddie C Moore Complex and will be streamed live on the FCSAA Digital Network.
