OCALA--The College of Central Florida men's basketball season comes to an end after falling to NJCAA No. 2 Florida SouthWestern State College 97-83 on Wednesday afternoon in the FCSAA Men's Basketball State Tournament quarterfinals.
CF took a 46-42 lead into the half, but FSW came out firing on all cylinders in the second half, out-scoring the Patriots 55-37. The Bucs' Tyler Cheese led the way with a triple-double, leading all scorers with 36 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.
Canberk Kus led the CF offense with 18 points, while four other Patriot players also scored in double-figures, including: Carlos Dotson (16), Quenton Jackson (15), Xzavier Barmore (13), and Kevin Hunt Jr. (12).
